An elderly local woman of a village in Southern Italy endures defenceless and almost guilty, the new values dictated by the poet himself.
Hilflos und beinah schuldbewusst, erträgt eine alte Frau in einem süditalienischen Dorf, den Monolog des Dichters über die "neuen Werte".
• Shelly Wain GB The Cummerbund 3 min 21s, DV, 2004

In a night full of twittering creatures and glittering stars, romantically minded ladies should not stay alone.

Poem: Nach grauen Tagen Ingeborg Bachmann
The regular Sunday activities of a family are here not idyllic, but torture; the only means of escaping the hecticness lies with a balloon.
Das sonntägliche Treiben einer Familie ist hier keine Idylle, sondern Tortur. Da hilft nur ein Ballon, um der Hektik zu entfliehen.

Muhammad And Jane
• Usama Alshaibi US/IQ Muhammad And Jane 80 min, DV, 2003
"Video maker Usama Alshaibi is the sort of canny visual stylist who can sustain a mood... the handheld videocam, tight close-ups, and disorienting angles create a potent sense of paranoia. The haunting score is by Andy Ortmann and Camilla Ha."
